On-Track Wheel Profile Inspection System

The interaction between wheels and rails is one of the key factors on the dynamical behaviour of rolling stock, and consequently, on the safety and comfort of railway vehicles, so it´s necessary to detect with high accuracy and frequency the different parameters of the wheels, and in particular the contact profile.The DWPM, DANOBAT’s latest generation of Wheel Profile Measuring Systems, is the result of years of research and  development work together with competent railway vehicle maintainers and operators.
